There are so many household tasks that need taking care of at a daily, weekly and monthly level, some more visible than others. In the generations before us, there were very clear gender specific roles in and outside of the home and within a romantic relationship. Luckily we now have more autonomy to choose, although it doesn’t mean we have totally shaken off the influence those relationship models have had on us both consciously and subconsciously. In today's episode we chat about creating dialogue around the division of household labour, the conflict it can create and how to navigate it.
Sharon is a coach, podcast host and founder of Respected + Connected, a coaching program that helps women create secure give-and-take relationships that don't need to shy away from conflict. Sharon is known for her practical and drama-free approach to the common conflicts and challenges that people face in their closest relationships.
We empower couples to create thriving relationships so that they can play all out in life, set big goals and put plans in place to actually achieve them.
Many research studies have shown
that great relationships are associated with better health, greater
happiness, and even a longer life. If more of us had thriving,
healthy, happy romantic relationships, we know we would have a
better world. That's why, every time someone works with us, via our
partnership with Buy1Give1 we also help someone else in the world.
Yep a stranger, someone you'll never meet.
